I have tried three different lunch specials since opening day and the food has always been great. Always hot and portions so big you can't eat it all. Great deal with a drink. I highly recommend the General Tso's Chicken.

I received a call because I was late... which is understandable. However what was unacceptable was how they engaged in conversation. Using vulgar language. Also found fruit flies in the food. Not a couple. There were several. Clean your act up.

I ordered something from them a few weeks ago. The food was fine. Nothing special. I did notice that the owner (who took my order) is extremely rude. I just called them today for a take out order and the guy who answered the phone (I am pretty sure it was the owner again) mumbled something I could not understand when he answered the phone. I told him I would like to order take out. Nothing. I heard stuff going on in the background but he literally said nothing for 10-20 seconds. I hung up. You expect business from me and treat me rudely?! Really!!!! I will NEVER-EVER go back there for anything. If you want to be treated rudely though this is the place for you.

6/26/2018Food was hot, wait time not bad. But floors and bathroom was disgusting the guy that took our order could have been cleaning instead of watching tv. Beef fried rice flavorless. Will not be back for a very long time.

If thy don't start answering the phone they will not need one, no one will call.

Finally Dorr has a Chinese restaurant and it's about time. Great lunch specials and fast service. Mostly a to go place but they have several tables and a tv for dining in. I usually order beef and broccoli, crab cheese, chicken skewers and fried dumplings and it takes me all weekend to eat. A ton of food for around $20. The sweet and sour chicken is pretty good too. Don't expect any smiles or chit chat from them though, they are busy busy busy and dead serious about cooking you some awesome food.

Not impressed with this place. The woman who took our order was very pleasant but everything else was sub-par. I ordered the hot and spicy chicken and couldn't finish it. Just not a good taste. The egg rolls were equally terrible and the smell reminded me of a brand new pair of sneakers. Granted, it was only one of their many dishes, but I won't be back to try any others.While they do have a few tables, this place is pretty much a take-out joint. The dining area is also their store room for the pop and water you get yourself out of the fridge (like at Little Caesars) and it's a bit dingy. There is a TV going in the room but all around it's not very comfortable.

This is my FAVORITE Chinese food restaurant! Food is always cooked fresh and tasty, great prices and very very clean kitchen. I would drive close to an hour to get their food. Now I live about 2 hours away and have no problem with this travel! Well worth my time and money.

Lived in this area now for 2 years and there are only 2 things on the menu I can tolerate--the general chicken and the pan fried dumplings. We have tried a variety of menu items from the lo mein, fried rice, szechuan, hunan, and mongolian beef in hopes of finding something I thought tasted good and EVERYTHING tastes the same! It appears the same sauce is used for all of their stir fried dishes and it's very bland! Even the crab rangoon's--something the wife and I love are mediocre at best. Don't waste your money. You're better off driving to Holland or Grand Rapids to get Chinese food. It's a real bummer for us!

Good food! We have never had anything we didn't like. Always ready quickly and everything is always fresh.

Excellent food, veggies are all fresh cut! The portions are also very generous, this is a diamond in the ruff for Dorr.

Hot, fresh, inexpensive, and always delicious one of the best Chinese restaurants around. The service may not be the best but I really don't care. I don't expect to be served there but somehow they still manage to get from around the counter even when the restaurant is busy and run with only three people. I'm happy that my food is still always ready for me on time whether I dine in or carryout.

Food is very good for a fast food Chinese restaurant. Clean, good service and great prices. We LOVE the lunch specials especially!

First time eating here. Chicken wasn't cooked thoroughly. Chicken egg roll lacked chicken.

Ordered dinner tonight, (they answered and gave me a 20minute pick up time) at 8pm-ish go pick it up half hour later and the restaurant is dark and closed? Something about this restaurant has me wondering if it's safe to even consume. Anyone else wondering?

I typically get food from here often. I started working there to discover when they get close to an hour out with orders, as they cook everything fresh as ordered they unplug their phone until he gets comfortably caught up. The wonderful cooking couple dont speak much English so their son helps them understand. When he is not around you may not be able to communicate everything so you need patience or to wait for the son. The food is great. I've never had bad food and I've been going practically since they've opened and usually once a week.

The lunch prices are outstanding. $5.50 for 15-20 of their most popular dishes, plus fried rice, plus a crab rangoon, plus a drink...all for under $6.00. If you're hungry for lunch, this is the place to go.

Good food. However service is poor, called several times nobody answers phone's for orders.

Service was fine and wait time wasn't bad, but the chicken fried rice was bland. The cuts of meat were gristly and small. I tend to prefer larger pieces of all white meat, but this chicken was unappealing and disappointing.

Hot and fresh food, every time

Been coming here since they opened. Good, fast service, food tastes good, prices are the same as other Chinese take out. Their $5.50 lunch specials are a great value as you get the main dish, fried rice, a crab Rangoon, and a soda of your choice (12oz can)! One of these times I'm going to try the Teriyaki Chicken and Boneless Spare Ribs for a change up! 😊

The young man at the register is kind and fast. Delicious food and very clean inside. My favorite dish is the shrimp fried rice. The five to ten minute wait isn't that bad.

this is the BEST tasting Chinese food I have ever eaten! I live about 40 minutes from Dorr and I will always drive the distance to enjoy this restaurant over any other closer to me. The restaurant is always clean and staff friendly. I have never eaten there, always take out, and the food is packed well to stay warm and fresh during the drive home. Delicious, fresh ingredients EVERY TIME!

Best Chinese in the area. ...also the only option. They are hard to get as hold of on the phone. Never eaten in, or used the bathroom, so cant comment on cleanliness noted by others. Lobby and visible portion of kitchen appears typical for Chinese take out restuarant.

Don't order anything with seafood. You'll get 3 shrimp, limited imitation crab and a few scallops. Other food is good.

Great food at a great cost. For just over $5.00 you can have a lunch that will easily fill you up.

This is the best take out place I've ever had the pleasure eating at. Clean, friendly and tasts amazing. The whole family loved it. We will be back and back often!

it was good food. normally enjoy eating there. the people there can be rude towards customers. i was in the middle of eating my food when i found a spider in my food. don’t think imma eat there again.

Our favorite close to home, always fresh and cashier is always so sweet!

Good food. We tried crab rangoon, general tsos, chicken mei fun, four seasons, and sweet and sour chicken. Crab rangoon- it's the triangle ones.Four seasons- really good just know it does have mushrooms in it.Sweet & Sour chicken- not potato size batter covering a pea size chunk of chicken. They have small pieces proportioned to chicken, taste good.

Their food tastes amazing, it isn't expensive, and they're always on time with my call-ahead orders. My favorite place! Also, there are tons of vegetarian options.

I eat there so often I can just call and order the usual. Prices are great and so is the food. Best thing that ever happened to Dorr.
